We had a great private dinner experience with Julien. It was easy to communicate prior to the event, and Julien made sure all the guests are taken care of, and made adjustment to everyone’s food restrictions. Julien charged reasonably, and he’s friendly, professional, and good at cooking! He brought everything for the event, and cleaned up after the event. He made everything so easy. I’ll definitely hire him again. Highly recommended.

As someone who loves cooking – it’s hard for me to admit – but Julien cooked the best meal ever prepared in our kitchen : ) He was professional, timely, and delivered such a great product for a 15-person gathering that we had at my home in Reno. It was my son’s high school graduation and my dad’s birthday, so I wanted something special – and I also wanted to be able to relax and enjoy the party myself. Everybody raved about the dishes – there was not one thing disliked by even the pickiest of our eaters. As we were prepping for the party, I kept telling Julien that I come from a big family and we love to do it big, with tons and tons of food and he definitely got the message. We will be having him back to our house to cook private dinners for me and my husband – and to help us with meal-prepping! 10/10 would recommend Chef Julien.

I worked with Julien for a 60th anniversary dinner for my parents. Julien was super easy to work with on the menu which I appreciated as I am remote. Every course turned out amazing and the overall experience was terrific. It was so nice to have a well-paced meal where we could take time to chat and eat amazing food. Julien is also a really nice person and great to have as part of your event.

Julien cooked dinner for us for a bachelorette party of 5. The menu was easy to plan with Julien and he had some great recommendations. He brought printed out menus (which I thought was a great touch), the pans he needed (our airbnb wasn’t well equipped) and all the necessary food to cook us a delicious meal. He was very easy-going when the sink broke (!!!) and didn’t hurry us along. I always enjoy when a private chef works off our pace! The meal itself was very good- it is clear Julien knows what he is doing. Overall, Julien provided a fantastic experience and a delicious meal & I would recommend working with him.
